South Africa, Jamaica & UK Tun Up / It’s the Amapiano star’s first official remix.
After an incredible year which saw her smash a sold-out tour of the UK, Amapiano sensation Uncle Waffles shares her first official remix, as she puts her unique stamp on Laa Lee and Cristale’s Dancehall smash ‘Bong Bing’.
Out 19th August, the remix follows the original version which went viral on TikTok with fans all over the world, amassing nearly 1 million creations. Now ‘Bong’ Bing’ is set to explode again this summer, with not only an Amapiano vibe from Uncle Waffles but also a Carnival Remix that arrives just in time for Notting Hill. Out later this month, the Carnival mix features artists from across the Caribbean linking up for the party, including IQ, Boidingo, Father Philis and Klassik Frescobar.
Despite only releasing music since 2018, fast-rising dancehall favourite Laa Lee has already generated a considerable global following, having just signed an exciting new deal with Black Butter. He has also performed across the UK and racked up millions of streams on singles such as ‘Bird’, ‘Tip Inna It’ and ‘Dirt Bounce’.
One of Amazon Music UK’s Ones to Watch for 2022, Cristale dropped her debut EP ‘What It’s Like To Be Young’ earlier this year. The highly anticipated release cements her as one of the UK’s hottest rap prospects.
One of the hottest DJs in South Africa right now, Uncle Waffles rose to stardom after her DJing skills and charisma behind the decks helped her garnered millions of social media views, also attracting the attention of worldwide admirers such as Drake.
