“Dance With Me” is a vocal-driven shapeshifting single about getting lost in the moment on the dancefloor with that special someone. Opening with breathy vocals, suspenseful strings, and stirring keys, the track offers a spellbinding allure. Powerful kicks pick up the pace while a euro-dance beat adds a playful sense of nostalgia that deepens the groove. Shifting the scene once more, the track moves into the sugary expanse of a classic melodic bass drop that blends passion and euphoria with rays of shimmering synths and waves of emotion rolling through. Moving between pensive, dancey, and heavenly, “Dance With Me” blurs genres and moods for an unforgettable dancefloor soundtrack.

JVNA speaks to the driving force behind the single, saying, “‘Dance with Me’ is a song about dancing with someone you love and connecting with them while forgetting about anything else in the world by being present in the moment with them. This track is a combination of genres; some ravey euro dance beat leading a classic melodic bass drop.”

Hailing from Los Angeles, JVNA is a multi-faceted artist that has been shining her wide range of talents across the melodic bass sphere. Her music has drawn support from Forbes, C-Heads, DJ Mag, Triple J, and Sirius XM. To support the new release, she will be hosting a run of ‘Dance with Me’ club shows at Exchange LA, Nova (San Diego), and Republik (Hawaii).

“Dance With Me” is an ode to the beauty of finding love on the dancefloor, fusing suspense, passion, and elation into a club-ready melodic bass offering.

JVNA’s new single “Dance With Me” is available on all platforms via Lost In Dreams Records.

More About JVNA

Playing at the dichotomy of light and dark, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist JVNA produces electronic pop with melodic bass edge. Having studied classical piano from the age of 6, she went to college at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she learned to score films and video games. JVNA started producing electronic music inspired by future bass sound, stumbling on viral hits with game and anime remixes. Her fanbase deepened with 2018’s “I’m With You.” Inspired by her father’s death, the contrast of hard-hitting grit and glittering softness mirrored the confusion of loss mixed with loving memories. JVNA self-directed the song’s music video, the first in her career. Explosive follow-up “Catch Me” continued the momentum. Fans loved the bright and hard-hitting chorus against vulnerable lyrics. The song took JVNA on a sold out tour across the United States, but when the pandemic forced venues to close, JVNA returned to the studio. “At Least It Was Fun” is the first taste from that process. Intimate yet expansive, the clear piano stabs and near-whispered vocals tell the story of a person who finds solace in the end of something hard. JVNA’s got a whole album’s worth of material due for release in 2021. It’s daring work that mixes pop, rock and melodic bass with honest and emotional lyrics. Nothing is off limits, and JVNA is just getting started.
