Jxrome Returns with ‘Flowers’, A Romantic, Football-Laced UK Rap Banger Packed with Summer Vibes

After a year-long hiatus, UK rap artist Jxrome is back with a bold new single, “Flowers,” an energetic and light-hearted anthem that blends grime, garage, and romantic bars with football shoutouts and Naruto-level resilience.

Crafted over a bouncy, upbeat beat from acclaimed producer Elevated (known for work with Giggs, Knucks, Octavian, and Central Cee), “Flowers” sees Jxrome step into the summer of 2025 with swagger, humour, and love. The track is a playful nod to his relationship with his fiancée, his loyalty to Liverpool FC, and his deep-rooted connection to anime,  all wrapped up in his unmistakable lyrical finesse.

“Flowers” is both a reset and a celebration,  a fun, fast-paced tribute to overcoming underdog odds, finding love, and embracing identity. Inspired by the underappreciated hero arc of Naruto Uzumaki and the euphoric highs of Liverpool FC’s return to glory, the track hits with references and hooks that cut across pop culture, football terraces, and the dancefloor.

“This one’s for everyone who’s ever felt like second-best — in love, in life, in the league.

I made this for fun, but also as a reminder that your time’s coming. Like Naruto, I stayed the course.

And now? My team’s top of the league — in every way.” Jxrome

Jxrome’s story is anything but ordinary. Raised in Luton Town, he’s become known for his unique take on drill, grime, and alternative UK rap, earning plays on BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio UK & USA, and features on YesJulz’s New Music Mondayz. From SoundCloud beginnings in 2016 to headlining sold-out London shows and a MOBO/Help Musicians-backed project, Jxrome has evolved into a sharp, reflective voice in UK rap.

“Flowers” marks the start of a new chapter for Jxrome in 2025,  experimenting with genre, refining his sound, and gearing up for a big year of releases and collaborations.
