About Young Viridii
Young Viridii, born Jared Thom, is an artist at the forefront of the electronic pop scene. With notable releases with Awakend on “Enhanced Music” and 4URA on “NoCopyrightSounds,” the Kansas City native has been writing songs since he was nine years old and playing guitar since he was ten.
At the age of 18, he decided he wanted to learn how to produce music to enhance his career and has been improving his production skills ever since. At age 24, Young Viridii draws inspiration from Jon Bellion, Quinn XCII, and Twenty One Pilots, writing and producing his music to share his experiences with the world.
He uses his songwriting as a therapy method and hopes his music will inspire creativity among those who listen to it. Jared adopted a unique name as his stage name, Young Viridii (pronounced Young Ver-ih-dee), Latin for lush, green, or youthful.
He always wanted his music to have a young spirit and be energetic, so he believed the name was perfect to represent his artistry. Young Viridii is currently working on his solo project while collaborating within the EDM and pop spaces.
