After a 3 year hiatus, Kitsuné Club Night’s fêted French Kiss Party returns on Valentine’s weekend with a forward thinking line up taking place at its spiritual home of Village Underground on February 15th and promises to bring back the romance to clubbing.
Expect a heady dose of pink lasers, lots of balloons, ‘love’ themed cocktails to get you in the mood and a phenomenal line up featuring a clutch of awesome, hotly tipped talent all primed to deliver one unforgettable Parisian style party bursting with tasty electronic flavours.
Kitsune Club Night has established itself as a credible and creative clubbing brand and mainstay that offers a colourful alternative to London’s house and techno scene programmed with high quality artists making the way to the top, full of character and individuality.
This year’s line up of fresh young mavericks is headed up by New York’s rising star Baltra, fresh off the success of his new album ‘Ted’, garnering accolades from the likes of Resident Advisor, Mixmag, DJ Mag, XLR8R, Boiler Room et al. He brings his unique brand of thought provoking house to the capital. Baltra’s latest offering, a modern reworking of Joe Smooth’s 90s house classic ‘Promised Land’ appears on the new Kitsuné House America compilation.
Sharing the stage is club stalwart Adryiano, who has been steadily supplying the scene with quality underground tracks since he emerged in 2012. He teams up with regular partner in crime, Welsh producer Harrison BDP, whose recent hypnotic, deep house ‘Mind Control’ EP was described by DJ Magazine as “a cavernous atmosphere of synth swells and fizzing noise”, for a thumping B2B showcase that went down a storm during their recent set at Berlin’s Watergate.
Another favourite fixture on the Scottish clubbing circuit, Theo Kottis, joins the party delivering his italo and synth infused beats as evident in his acclaimed new single ‘Clear’ released through legendary UK label SKINT.
Completing the line-up is deep-house queen, Jay Carder, whose monthly residency with underground collective 4 To The Floor and Soho Radio show ‘House of Carder’, bring an influx of raw tribal rhythms, breaks and electronica from all corners of the planet.
This is one Valentine’s party not to be missed.
