After the worldwide success of their first collaboration ‘Sicko Drop’, KVSH and Schillist have decided to team up again on ‘Be Someone’, this time also adding Ray X Ben into the mix. Reworking the original from Ray X Ben, the creation process was inspired by the Brazilian summer time where everyone is always happy. Finding the track on Spotify, they contacted Ray X Ben about the possibilities to create a new version. Adding their own signature sounds, they have still kept the vibe of the original track.
KVSH: ‘’Actually, I was with Schillist in the car. We were heading to record our b2b set for STMPD to celebrate the success of “Sicko Drop.” Schillist played me his idea for the “Be Someone” rework that day. I immediately fell in love with the track and asked him to collaborate and finish the track. We wanted to create a good vibe track for the summer in Brazil that would work both on the dance-floor and on streaming platforms.’’
With their last collaboration on STMPD RCRDS by the name of ‘Sicko Drop’ turning into a global success, ‘Be Someone’ is ready to head down that same road. ‘Sicko Drop’ went viral in more than 30 countries including the United Kingdom, United States and the Netherlands, surpassing 50 million plays on Spotify, 250 million views on Tik Tok, and 350k searches on Shazam.
