Kydus, a modest, consistent young talent, has teamed up with songwriter and vocalist Rion S. to make his Ultra debut with new single “Gold Digger,” out today.
Aligning a series of exciting originals and collaborations with some of the world’s most revered labels such as Big Beat, Toolroom, Saved, Knee Deep in Sound, Stereo, and his spiritual home, Circus Recordings, Kydus has released hit singles including “Aftermath” and “Markeeta’s Way.” Now joining the Ultra Music roster, Kydus is releasing “Gold Digger,” a groovy, catchy song with powerful vocals to match. The track starts off strong with beats and vocals coming in right away, giving off a funky, fun, country-ish vibe.
Kydus has a true understanding of his craft, fusing his unashamedly honest experience and emotion with intricate technical studio skills and extensive DJ-ing experience. In recent years Kydus has perfected his own brand of infectious, driving, flawless melodic house and techno. Enticing a loyal support from such luminaries as Eats Everything, Patrick Topping, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Luciano, Yousef, Hot Since 82, Joris Voorn, Darius Syrossian, Steve Lawler, Davide Squillace Monika Kruse and Ricardo Villalobos. In the last couple of years, Kydus made a bold move and changed musical direction. While still delivering tech bangers, he decided it was time to create his own blend of uplifting, melodic house music. “Markeeta’s Way” on Danny Howard’s ‘Nothing Else Matters’ (1.3 Million streams) was the first glimpse of this sound. Which was followed up by “Aftermath” on Atlantic / Big Beat in the USA.
Rion S. (Ryan Sewell) is an incredibly talented artist, songwriter, and vocalist from County Armagh.
