Munich based indie-pop quartet Kytes rope in Italo master Andrea Tirone AKA Mind Enterprises for a furious synth-powered, disco bassline laden rework of their new single ‘Apricosa’, out 22nd April through their very own label Frisbee Records.
They say: “Modern Italo-Disco king Andrea goes to town on our new track ‘Apricosa’. The New-Wave Electronic Funk pioneer transforms ‘Apricosa’ into a disco dance hit. We are totally happy with his take on this. We’re massive fans of his song ‘Idol’ and have been following him since. Apricosa expresses our desire to come together, our metaphor for ease and our wish to dance again in the here and now. The remix takes you straight to the dance floor, we can’t wait to hear it in a discotheque.”
