Munich based indie-pop quartet Kytes wrap up the year in style with a infectiously vibrant indie-pop bop ‘hello (and it’s christmas)’, out 19th November through Frisbee Records.
Following on from their acclaimed tracks ‘bumblin’ and ‘the beat is on hold’, the band continue their message of positivity laced with vibrant lyricism and breezy indie-pop melodies.
The band say: “Right on time for Christmas and the holiday season we release our Christmas jam “hello (and it’s christmas)”. A homage to “Santa Baby” and “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” the song offers a positive outlook into the future. The track has a 60s vintage outfit and celebrates the time with family & friends with a little wink full of anticipation for the wonder of the big “party” under the Christmas tree.”
KYTES sold out European tour, a #1 chart position on Hype Machine and more than 50 million streams, is testament to the undeniable talent of Michael Spieler, Timothy Lush, Kerim Öke and Thomas Sedlacek. The band continue to captivate with a clutch of new releases and a series of shows across Germany and Austria this winter, including a run of UK dates in January 2022.
Drawing on a myriad of influences ranging from 80s inspired pop, indie and disco, the band are renowned for their peppy-paced songwriting and infectious melodies.
