LARSa returns to Magnetic Magazine Recordings with his remix of D&S’s “Time & Space,” out October 2, 2026. The release marks the label’s 82nd signing and continues the momentum as they head into the new year (and off to ADE as well).

It follows his debut with the label, “Moment In Time,” which we released back in July 2025.

Magnetic has written about Lars several times since then, and those conversations and list of tips to underground producers have helped me understand his approach. Before producing electronic music, he played guitar with his father and drums in the Bay Area band Daytime Nightlife.

He began working in Reason in 2015 and later became involved in Long Beach’s house scene, including helping organize free beach parties with his partner and friends.

That background helps explain why his relationship with house music includes producing, DJing, collaboration, and organizing events. In our first interview, he spoke about supporting artists and labels before asking them to listen to your music. That included attending shows, buying releases, and talking directly with people.

His remix of Josh Butler’s “Take Control” provided an example earlier this year. After Butler shared stems in his Sooper community, Lars submitted a version for feedback, made revisions, and secured a release in ORIGINS RCRDS’ tenth anniversary remix series. He had previously appeared on the label with “Tape Machine” in 2024.

We’ve also documented his work with Swanya on “Postcards from the Club,” which combined hardware drum programming, software synthesis, and original vocals. Alongside those collaborations, Lars has discussed finishing arrangements, resampling existing material, and stepping away from a track before making final decisions.

“Time & Space” brings him back to our label as a remixer, adding D&S to that list.

The Progressive House record is available on Beatport, and you can listen to the remix now and support the release.
