LAZYRAVE have created a pure alchemical fusion of 4/4 rhythms including bass drums, synthesizer riffs and deep basslines to create a feel-good electronic track with a house music vibe. The dance floor filler ‘Work At It’ is about never giving up and will be their 5th single after launching their career at the end of 2019.
Music to them is an expression for the soul; something that can bring a triumph of joy which they delineate in their discography. LAZYRAVE are determined to inspire and create deep rooted connections with their listeners and are looking forward to playing gigs in the UK and around the world. Something LAZYRAVE haven’t lost is their destiny, they know exactly who they are and exactly where they want to go musically.
ABOUT LAZY RAVE
Hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne, LAZYRAVE was born out of the unlikely union of frontman (Dan Clark) and drummer (Ben Kindlan) from rock & roll band ‘The Kush’ with producer (Mark “Clem” Clemmett) and tech engineer (Pete Cheyne). The four have fused their individual styles and experiences together, ensuring that the music they create plays deep into every rave, every afterparty, and every live show. This is the sound that uniquely identifies LAZYRAVE as a collective.
LAZYRAVE’s first official release came in 2019 with ‘1up’. The track was the first song the collective wrote together and inspired the band name LAZYRAVE. Their 2021 releases ‘Lazy Raver’ and ‘Snakey’ have gained the band support press support from the likes of Clash Magazine, Music News and Mystic Sons as well as radio play from BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 6 Music.
Kinetic, atmospheric, evocative, propulsive, grungy, dreamy, euphoric: LAZYRAVE are an authentic collaboration that have earned their sound and lived their lyrics.
