A high-impact dubstep release at its core, “Preach” threads together breakbeat rhythms, hardstyle propulsion, and future riddim textures into a tightly engineered, club-ready framework. Oscillating melodic chimes introduce the track before punchy breakbeat drums drive it forward with relentless momentum. Heavily distorted hard dance elements collide with compressed dubstep drops, while flashes of colorbass-infused house bring dynamic contrast. Drawing on inspiration from old-school gabber, the production channels fast-tempo rave energy without sacrificing the precision and low-end weight that define Leotrix’s sound design. The result is a genre-blending bass record built for both hardstyle arenas and underground club systems—a kinetic reminder to celebrate every corner of dance music’s BPM spectrum.

Breaking down the creative direction he took on his new single, Leotrix says, “I wanted to make a tune that felt reminiscent of OG UK happy hardcore, as well as gabber hardstyle, whilst keeping my compressed dubstep EDM style. I love hardstyle melodies and hardstyle kicks; the sound design in hard dance music really reflects some of the stuff I really enjoy about dubstep sound design.

Preach” follows the release of recent single “Fighter Pilot,” which garnered coverage from EDM.com, Fresh Music Freaks, Visual Atelier 8, Find Your Sounds, and Perspective. The single also lands amid a strong run of live performances, with recent appearances at Concord Music Hall1015 FolsomBreak PointLake Union ParkThe Vermont Hollywood, and OK Farmers Market, reinforcing his growing presence across North America.

After securing an early deal with Ministry of Sound Australia, he went on to earn multiple #1 chart positions on Beatport and release music on imprints including Cyclops RecordingsMonstercatDisciple RecordsBassrush Records, and UKF. His catalog has surpassed 30 million streams and received radio support from triple j and George FM.
