Lioba will release her brand-new single ‘At the Pool’ on October 5th, 2022. This track is released with the announcement of her debut album, Magnolia, that will be released in early 2023, via Duchess Box Records.
A child prodigy, Lioba started making music at the age of seven on her piano, and began performing concerts with her mother around northern Germany.
After Lioba made the decision to pursue a solo career in music after being in an indie band, she wanted to make the music she could fully express herself through.
In 2021, she self released her debut EP, Introspection, capturing the attention of Duchess Box Records who then signed her for her debut album.
Her latest single ‘At the Pool’ experiences a moment of unconditional detachment up close, defying all boundaries and rules. She explores a story of a social taboo-breaking-cheating. She
takes us on the journey of an exuberant intoxication that impetuously and directly helps itself to whatever it feels like.
‘At the Pool’ is a feel-good, chilling but happy alt-pop track. Featuring bass synthie, percussion, and noise samples, it compliments Lioba’s beautiful vocal range that will capture the listeners attention from the very first beat.
