Festivities kick off with Brazilian Drum ‘n’ Bass legend DJ Marky, DBridge of Exit Records and Bad Company fame, masters of Autonomic soundscapes Instra:mental, and purveyor of dub vibes Breakage, who are joined by one of the UK’s rising stars, Harriet Jaxxon, and Rohaan, one of the hottest producer talents in the scene today, alongside Mexican stalwarts Isaac Maya and Viewer.

LOCUS is the landmark event for electronic music enthusiasts in North and South America to journey to Mexico and witness history in the making, all within the stunning backdrops of Tulum, with a line-up that represents the past, present, and future of Drum ‘n’ Bass.

Day 2 brings the godfathers of Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass, Fabio & Grooverider, hot off the incredible success of their recent Outlook Orchestra performance, complemented by the likes of Dub Phizix & Strategy, who will bring their distinct Mancunian DnB flavors; Submotive, who’s been making waves with his new Subjective collaboration with Goldie; Kolya, Dave Owen, NYC’s DJ Strife, and homegrown Mexican DnB talent, Mukiyare.

Day 3 gets even more ridiculous with a rare set from Hospital Records boss, London Elektricity; an exclusive Black Science Labs set from TeeBee in his first solo set in almost a decade; the champions of hyper-coloured Liquid Drum ‘n’ Bass, Etherwood and Technimatic; a live PA from PAV4N of Foreign Beggars fame; 1985 Music’s French Drum ‘n’ Bass dons Visages; Submorphics; and Metalheadz wonderkid Kid Drama, all set to bring their magic to the beach.

Day 4, which will be held at an undisclosed location, will see Workforce, who was a part of the eclectic Spectrasoul duo; Commix, who has been responsible for making some of the biggest tunes in Drum ‘n’ Bass; the maestro of dark DnB arts, Loxy; the great purveyor of intelligent and deep DnB, Klute; Swedish virtuoso Seba; Critical Music’s Sam Binga; and one of America’s finest duos, Quadrant & Iris, slated to lure the deepest, grittiest and grimiest bass frequencies into Tulum to close the festival in style.

This epic line up will be supported by some of the genre’s most treasured hosts like Degs, Dynamite MC, Jakes, MC Dino, MC Fava, MC GQ, MC LowQui, SP:MC, and Stamina MC.

Over the years, bass music festivals like Outlook and Hospitality On The Beach have taken the initiative of hosting grand line-ups around the best waterfronts in Europe and, thanks to its meticulously curated experience, LOCUS is now all set to bring this experience to North & South America for the first time ever.

With incredible views of the crystal-clear blue sea, and the Mexican jungle in sight nearby, LOCUS promises to be an experience of a lifetime. Day passes are priced at $100, while full 4-day festival passes are available at just $300 HERE. Travel, transfer and accommodation packages are also available to suit all budgets, including for backpackers.
