Matveï channels 90s house nostalgia on ‘HIGHS&LOWS’

Taken from new ‘TALES FOR NIGHTCLUBS #1’ EP due 25th March via Kitsuné Musique

Rising Parisian DJ / producer MATVEÏ returns with a brand new club ready anthem ‘HIGHS&LOWS’, lifted from the forthcoming ‘TALES FOR NIGHTCLUBS #1’ EP due this March through Kitsuné Musique.

Channeling a heady dose of 90s house-tinged nostalgia, coupled with brainy, modern electronic elements, Matveï transcends into a new era and continues to carve out a unique musical style. He says: “I made HIGHS&LOWS in one night. The vision was to come up with a warm and melodic club song, ornamented with a bunch of interesting percussions (tablas, talking drums, angklung…). To make the drops, I imagined myself wandering through a tropical rainforest.”
