Immersive, genre-bending artists Muo Duo make a remarkable return this May delivering ‘Ruby Rose’, following the release of their ‘Tasting Menu’ EP.
Hailing from New York, Muo Duo have risen through the ranks with a well-earned reputation within the alternative pop and indie meets hip-hop realm. Gaining serious heat with publications including Wonderland, Notion, 1883 Magazine and more from their enticing alternative hip-hop project released last year, the 6-track EP featured legends like Chicago rapper Ausar, Mick Jenkins, Casshan and Guapdad 4000 which showcased the multi-faceted talents’ incredible ability to crossover into different genres, whilst maintaining the trademark style that they are best known for.
After captivating listeners with an array of different themes, dreamy soundscapes and flawless vocal flow last year, the pair make a truly eclectic return with another sun-drenched offering in the form of ‘Ruby Rose’ just in time for early summer this May.
Bringing back more of that explosiveness and genre-bending style, ‘Ruby Rose’ is an empowering and energetic addition to the rising stars’ blossoming repertoire. Eclectic beats fuse with organic percussion and slick guitar riffs, whilst flawless vocals and warped effects add vital texture to this elevating offering. It’s a mesmerising track that will catch the attention of indie fans and listeners alike.
Miles From Space trained in composition and French Horn at the Juilliard Pre-College where he studied classical music whilst being heavily influenced by the songwriting and groups including The Beatles, Tyler The Creator and Freddie Hubbard. His sister Winter is an accomplished and incredibly talented vocalist that performed on Broadway playing young Elsa in Disney’s production of Frozen and currently sings in the children’s chorus at the Met Opera. She has also pursued a successful career as an actress, appearing in Sesame Street, the FBI on CBS, and Manifest, on Netflix.
The pair continue to take the alternative and indie scene by storm with unique vocal blends which are woven through their tracks, transcend genre and reveal captivating, relatable and vibrant stories with addictive hooks and melodies.
‘Ruby Rose is about searching for an ideal, whether or not you may find it you leave everything behind.” – Muo Duo
