Nvrsoft has become a scene staple since her debut EP ‘Premonitions’ on Audioporn, which soon led her to making history as the first US woman to play at London’s imperative venue Fabric in 2019. Following this up with various singles and EPs on the imprint, with the guidance of drum & bass heavyweight Shimon, she’s been spending nearly a decade finessing her sounds amongst a burgeoning drum & bass landscape in the US. However, having now made moves across the Atlantic, after reaching the Beatport D&BTop 10 as well as amassing a slowly growing collection of records under her belt, she makes a comeback once more for a brand new single on Audioporn alongside singer and songwriter Sofia.
‘Like It’ sees a return to form for Nvrsoft, an ominous record which is added to by Sofia’s lulling vocals which moves you into a false sense of security; the producer then draws for her hypnotizing drum work which continues to push the listener under. Nvrsoft highlights the versatility in her production through ‘Like It’ as her path alongside Audioporn grows longer, with the success of each level she reaches signposted by the high quality of her music making.
Being teased through her European and US tour, one which stretches into the coming Summer months, more is to come from Nvrsoft as she elevates towards the heights of her career. Although with the mentorship of drum & bass pioneers such as Shimon, she’s only set to build on a foundation which was pulled together by her love of drum & bass.
