Governments and individuals alike tend to censor content that does not align with their beliefs or preferences, often without any logical reasoning, and they shift parameters based on their agenda. “Censorship” exposes the double standard surrounding nudity and violent content, where female nipples are often considered scandalous (while male nipples are deemed acceptable for some inexplicable reason), while violent content is frequently treated with leniency. The song challenges society’s selective approach towards censorship and aims to bring attention to the issue.
