Pacha New York officially opens to the public on June 20th Michael Bibi and Black Coffee

Pacha New York has announced details of its opening weekend parties this summer. On 20th June, the new venue will open with a headline set from Michael Bibi, while Black Coffee will head up proceedings the following night. Further line-up details for the weeks that follow are yet to be announced, but the venue has promised “world-class programming” and “immersive activations”.

Pacha New York will be based in the Williamsburg building that formerly housed Brooklyn Mirage. The once prominent venue had faced a year of disruption before filing for bankruptcy last August after repeated delays to its reopening due to major renovations.

In February, it was revealed that The Avant Gardner and Brooklyn Mirage complex will now be fully managed by the Dubai-based FIVE Holdings, which is Pacha’s parent company.

“More than a market expansion for FIVE and Pacha, it marks a defining moment in our global journey,” said FIVE Holdings Chairman and Chief Executive Kabir Mulchandani earlier this year. “For us, New York is not simply a new chapter — it is a statement of intent about the scale of our aspirations and the cultural impact we are here to create.”

Earlier this week, Pacha New York’s operators said they would credit ticket holders who did not receive refunds for cancelled Brooklyn Mirage events, prior to the venue filing for bankruptcy.

“New York, we heard you. We’ve reached out directly to everyone affected by past Brooklyn Mirage refunds,” the venue said in a statement. “While those weren’t on us, we’re stepping up anyway — because that’s how the city moves.”
