Plasma Chasms release their latest single, ‘Interstellar Baby’, taken from their upcoming debut album ‘Chrysalis’.

Indie-psychedelic duo Plasma Chasms release their latest single, ‘Interstellar Baby’, taken from their upcoming debut album ‘Chrysalis’.  Known for their unique blend of Australian indie and Southern California vibes, Plasma Chasms’ new track takes listeners on a cosmic journey through a universe of love and connection.

‘Interstellar Baby’ is a testament to Plasma Chasms’ ability to create lush, hallucinogenic soundscapes. The track is a vibrant blend of psychedelic R&B and indie-pop stylings. It tells the enchanting story of love at first sight and the delicate vulnerability of opening one’s heart. Adrian Guerrero and Jane Drewett, the masterminds behind the project, have crafted a song that seamlessly merges their deepest thoughts, narrating a tale of two souls spiralling into acceptance and unity as they traverse the universe together.

‘Interstellar Baby’ blends vintage 60s-70s techniques with modern digital sensibilities to craft a spacey love song that echoes the timeless allure of Marvin Gaye’s soulful voice, bringing a fresh twist to their psychedelic sound.

Since forming in 2020, Australian/US duo Plasma Chasms has quickly made a name for themselves with their distinctive sound. Their journey began with the self-release of singles ‘Echoes; and ‘Empty Spaces,’ which caught the attention of an independent Australian label, The A&R Department. Their debut self-titled EP in 2022 showcased their ability to blend classic indie-pop with psychedelic vibes, leading to the creation of their upcoming concept album, ‘Chrysalis.’ This album promises to transport listeners through layers of psychedelia, guided by a cosmic concierge in an intergalactic space elevator, exploring the vastness of human experience.
