
Eclectic outfit Queen Colobus celebrate the release of their new EP Dandelion, with their vibrant jazz-pop infused single Tap, out now.
They have previously been featured on Spotify’s Jazz UK, Fresh Finds Jazz and Fresh Finds UK& IE playlists, as well as receiving radio play from the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Victoria Jane, BBC 6Music’s Mary Anne Hobbs, Jazz FM’s Tony Minvielle, Soho Radio’s Women In Jazz and Tina Edwards. They have also support from industry tastemakers such as Clash Magazine and Loud Women to name a few.
Seamlessly blending elements of UK Jazz with emotive indie guitars and a raw, heartfelt vocal performance, Queen Colobus once again create genre-bending soundscapes that are brimming with honesty, polished production and pure vibes. Led by Welsh saxophonist and vocalist Beth Hopkins, Queen Colobus weave a sound that is both soothing and head-banging in equal measure.

The band features Beth (vocals/sax), Morgan Rickman (guitar), Will Heaton (bass), and Adam Skinner (drums). Their intricate musicianship and tight-knit friendship empower their joyful and cathartic shows, selling out prestigious venues including Royal Albert Hall’s Elgar Room and performing festivals such as We Out Here and Lost Village.
