Multiple award-winning global star and Queen of Afrobeats Tiwa Savage returns to her roots with a headline show at the OVO Arena Wembley on November 26th, with tickets on general sale TODAY (July 7th).
A decade on from her debut album Once Upon A Time, which turns ten years old this week, this week Tiwa also appeared on Good Morning Britain speaking about how she was actually raised in Wembley (so the show feels like a massive full circle moment for her), as well as about her work with George Michael to Sam Smith to Beyonce, her new single ‘Pick Up’ and how she became the first Nigerian artist to appear at a royal show after performing at the King’s Coronation this year.
‘Stamina’, her first release of 2023 featuring Ayra Starr and Young Jonn dominated the Apple Music charts globally, and she also enjoyed chart topping success with features on Spyros smash hit ‘Who’s Your Guy?’ and Majeed’s ‘Gbese’.
In May, Tiwa made history as she performed at the Coronation Concert for King Charles III in the UK. Her flawless performance was viewed by over 18 million viewers across the globe. She also met the Queen Consort at Buckingham Palace, as her philanthropy focuses on youth engagement organisations and breast cancer screening programmes in Nigeria. Finally, Tiwa has announced a 10-city headline North America tour which officially kicks off on 24th August in Washington, DC.
