Copenhagen artist Radeckt has already seen plenty of success with heavyweights like Dixon, Âme and Mind Against, all supporting his classy House sounds that have found a home on esteemed labels from Ultra to Human by Default. Last year he was behind the summer hit ‘Dope Dance’, which was praised as Pete Tong‘s Essential New Tune on BBC Radio 1, and now he steps out with his own sure-to-be essential label Rendition.
The inaugural release is from the man himself and opens with ‘Talk To Me’, a perfectly poised and sophisticated sound with supple, well-crafted drums and an elastic bassline sweeping you up. The chord vamps march on while spraying leads bring a sense of anguish that is softened by Keena’s stylish vocal. On the digital flip, ‘Losing Myself’ goes even deeper, fusing shimmering synths, bulbous basslines and angelic vocals that will bring shivers to the dancefloor while the sci-fi pads and ever-present sense of drama keep things locked in.
