Having spent the past few weeks cementing himself as one of the UK’s brightest new lights, Ray Laurél today reveals his hotly anticipated debut EP, ‘Manic Pixie Dream Boy’. 5 eclectic tracks showing the young polymath in full bloom, the EP features unheard lead single ‘Unconditional’ and Pride anthem in waiting ‘Johnny’, rounding out a body of work which serves as further evidence as to why Ray has sent tongues wagging. With support from 6 Music, The Line Of Best Fit, Notion, Ones To Watch and with an opening slot for Jeshi and Gglum collaboration under his belt already, the next few months look exciting for Ray. Speaking on the project, he states:
I had spent 3 years on a project and was about to drop it in early 2021, but post-lockdown everything was different. The person I had become was worlds apart, so I scrapped it completely and started from scratch. There was only one thing on my mind when making this EP and it was identity.
