In addition to previously released festival-favourites like the crowd-chanting anthem “HAPPY SONG” and “EAT SLEEP RAGE,” the newly unveiled EP delivers three long-anticipated offerings. “ASCENSION” opens the package with dark and riveting hums that explode into Ray’s signature bubbly yet gritty bass stabs setting the mood for a genre-bending experience. Listeners will be captivated with euphoric catharsis as they play “IT ISN’T ME,” as RUNN’s shimmering vocals embrace feelings that come with heartbreak. Ray weaves heartfelt emotions into every note for a resplendent melodic bass banger that ignites a floating sensation. “DROP EM” showcases a newer side to Ray’s bass soundscapes, introducing bouncy house elements, distorted hybrid trap stylings, and deep growling bass for the likes of all electronic music aficionados.

Ray Volpe shares, “This EP means a lot to me. After the last year of explosive growth, I felt an immense amount of pressure to “follow it up” and keep the momentum going. It caused me to hit a brick wall for a bit, but eventually I broke through and made a collection of what feels like my best work to date. It’s an incredibly exciting and creatively fulfilling feeling.”
