Ren Lawton unveils visuals for ‘Today Today Tomorrow’!

Ren Lawton has revealed the atmospheric video for his latest single, and title track of his debut album, Today Today Tomorrow.

The video release follows previous single Love By Night with the video premiering on Americana UK. Ren has already picked up impressive support from the folk community from the likes of Folk Radio and Thank Folk For That.

The video dropped to coincide with Ren’s support slot alongside notable singer-songwriter, Sam Brookes.

With an ability to play a varied selection of instruments – from guitars and trumpet to harmonica and piano – Ren Lawton was a project that would transform Conor Owen’s style of music. Previously in indie bands supporting the likes of We Are Scientists and The Subways, Conor was able to embrace his love of great storytellers from music and beyond such as Bob Dylan and Frank O‘Connor. The result is debut album, Today Today Tomorrow; a collection of songs, emotive and personal, cutting right to the heart of who Conor is.

The record runs through a gamut of emotions and styles from the playful, uplifting bop of ‘Thinking About You’, and the ethereal beauty of ‘Willow’ and ‘Come All You Mourners’, to the harmonica-filled crescendo of ‘The Writer’, album Today Today Tomorrow dazzles throughout.

Conor’s distinctive brand of contemporary folk has resonated far and wide. With over 1 million Spotify streams of single ‘Piece of Your Heart’ as well as airplay on Tom Robinson (BBC Radio 6), BBC WalesBBC Newcastle and BBC Bristol. Today Today Tomorrow is out now and is taken from the album of the same name, due for release on 23rd February 2022.
