Multi-platinum, three-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo will perform at Roskilde Festival next year. Today, the Danish festival adds 25 new names to next year’s lineup, including Deftones, Jamie xx, A. G. Cook, Anoushka Shankar, Lambrini Girls, and Saint Levant.
From June 28 to July 5, 2025, Roskilde Festival will feature more than 180 music acts. Today, the Danish non-profit festival has announced that they will host an epic celebration with one of the biggest stars Olivia Rodrigo.
Olivia Rodrigo’s concert at Roskilde Festival will take place on Friday 4 July. It follows her hugely successful 2024 GUTS world tour, which included 95 sold-out shows in over 60 cities across more than 20 countries, attracting over 1.4 million fans. This will be her only Scandinavian stop in 2025.
“Olivia Rodrigo is undeniably one of the biggest names today. Her exceptional ability to express the complex emotions of youth with such authenticity and intensity sets her apart from others in the industry. As an artist, she represents a new generation of headliners who are unafraid to show their vulnerability and break boundaries, making her a perfect fit for Roskilde Festival. We are immensely proud to host her only Scandinavian concert in 2025, and it will be a celebration to go down in the history books,” says Roskilde Festival’s Head of Music, Thomas Sønderby Jepsen.
Alternative metal, house, hyperpop, ghettotech, and Irish folk
Among the newly announced 25 acts are also British producer Jamie xx, who will transform the festival’s main stage, Orange Stage, into a massive nightclub, and the American metal legends Deftones, who is preparing to release new material in 2025.
Today’s announcement spans from Brazil to Ukraine, Palestine, and China, representing a wealth of rich musical traditions and groundbreaking sounds. Festival participants will get the chance to experience hyperpop godfather A. G. Cook, Palestinian pop architect Saint Levant, influential Danish rapper Artigeardit, renowned sitarist Anoushka Shankar – daughter of Ravi Shankar – as well as Irish folk music from Landless and The Mary Wallopers.
Other names in today’s announcement include jazz supergroup Flock, American ghettotech innovators HiTech, British indie-punk duo Lambrini Girls, and Belgium-Caribbean composer Nala Sinephro.
