A fresh face in the synth-pop scene, newcomer Saila‘s infectious debut single So Far is out now via So, Let’s Talk.
Drawing inspiration from renowned artists like NewJeans, PinkPantheress, and XG, Saila is eager to captivate audiences with her heavenly synth-pop melodies. Her sound, a fusion of city pop and newtro elements, blends dreamy electronics and cheerful hooks with warm, otherworldly vocals, creating an instantly radiant auditory experience.
Delving into her single, Saila shares, “So Far was me having a conversation with myself earlier this year when I was really lost and unsure. I needed a reminder to be kind to myself, to recognise how far I’ve come, to be brave and keep going. I didn’t write So Far thinking it would be my first single, but the year went on and I found myself going back to that song for support again and again. I think a lot of people feel the way I felt, and maybe they need to hear the same words I did, so here we are!”
An accomplished songwriter already. Saila has had material featured in the Marvel blockbuster Eternals, which was the only piece officially commissioned for the movie. So Far was written and produced by Saila herself. Saila currently has a publishing deal with Fat Pigeon Publishing / Kobalt Music Group. Fat Pigeon’s recent accolades include the huge hit single Prada by Casso, Raye and D-Block Europe.
