Drawing from the big spangly sounds of 80’s synth-pop & returning with her second single in anticipation to her new album, Sara Cruz delves into this dreamy track titled ‘2Two Wrongs’.
Dreamy whispering vocals & a soft slightly spooky atmosphere blend the soundscape of Sara’s new production that she shares with Italian music producer Marco Bertini, portraying a taste of bittersweet yet hopeful feelings throughout the song.
Sara Cruz on the meaning behind the track:
“ 2Two Wrongs is the second single that anticipates the new album I’m working on.
It definitely feels like drawing from the spangly sounds of 80’s synth-pop, I really enjoyed the making of this production, which I share with talented music producer Marco Bertini.
While I’m of course happy and blessed to keep on enjoying making music, feelings of bittersweetness and sadness are echoing my footsteps a little bit at this particular time, as I’m dealing with the very recent and sudden loss of a great friend and music partner – Jonathan Craig Jones – that has tragically passed away.
Only three months ago I did another campaign for the single we did together, so it feels a little strange and new doing music without him.
On the other hand the rest of my music team is incredible and their love & support is so, so precious.
The music video was shot between Italy and Turkey, while I was on holiday with my husband, and it encloses beautiful natural places that are really inspiring to me, bringing back peaceful memories.”
