EU & UK Tour Dates Announced
New Album “Throw The Dice” Out September 4th via [PIAS] Recordings Germany
The Swiss collective Soft Loft is back with ‘F U WANT IT’ – a folky coming-of-age anthem exploring the ghosts of past relationships: more present than ever, yet never quite gone. Driven by the warm, dynamic rhythm of acoustic guitar and carried by the unmistakable voice of singer and lyricist Jorina Stamm, the track blends intimate storytelling with a subtle but propulsive groove.
It captures the quiet realization in your late twenties that you’re not living wildly enough, while navigating the frustration of life and love. Balancing vulnerability and momentum, the song reflects on growth, independence, and the emotional weight of stepping into adulthood.
After a breakthrough year of headline tours, major festivals and tastemaker praise from BBC 6 to KEXP, and ahead of an extensive European tour in the fall, the quintet once again showcases their ability to turn personal introspection into resonant, organic indie-folk soundscapes.

Written and produced by the band, mixed by Grammy-winner Craig Silvey (Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine, The National, etc.), ‘F U WANT IT’ is the second single from their upcoming album ‘Throw The Dice’, set for release on September 4 via [PIAS] Recordings.
Jorina Stamm on ‘F U WANT IT’:
“In my early twenties, relationships often felt like something additional, almost secondary to everything that I hadn’t experienced yet. There was so much life still ahead of me that the idea of settling down, with a person or even a feeling, seemed very distant and abstract. Still being alone and wanting someone to share life with is a constant companion. So ex lovers became ghosts, no longer present, but never fully gone. The thought of them reappears in certain moments, in loneliness, carrying this strange duality: “you are gone, but you’re not, you felt wrong but the right spot.
It’s the sense that something could have been perfect, if only it had happened at a different time. “F U WANT IT“ is rethinking that past relationship, wondering if they could’ve been something more and if maybe from time to time they think about the past as well.
Being in your late twenties feels like constantly shifting between extremes, between finally finding a sense of calm and worrying you’re not living wildly enough. Between contentment and sudden panic that there’s still so much left undone, so much left to try. „F U WANT IT” lives in that uncertainty, in the tension between holding on and letting go, between timing and feeling, and in the quiet realization that sometimes, it’s not about the person, but about where you are in life when you meet them. Life and love is frustrating and so the song in the end might also be a cheeky „fuck, you, want it“ to the ghost who seems to have managed to bury your ghost a long time ago.”
The new upcoming album ‘Throw The Dice’ is, in many ways, a reflection on life itself. It’s about what tha band learned, what they’ve observed, what has helped and what hasn’t. It questions whether they’re stepping into a new phase in life, or if that idea of clear-cut phases doesn’t really exist at all. It’s about it all being a big game, a huge gamble and you won‘t know if it‘s all gonna turn out fine or if it’s not, let‘s throw the dice.
After a breakthrough year of headline touring and festival appearances across London, Berlin, Paris and Zurich, as well as slots at The Great Escape, Reeperbahn and Montreux Jazz Festival, plus tastemaker praise from BBC 6 Music to KEXP, this year is shaping up to be even bigger with their [PIAS] debut and an 2026 EU fall tour.
