LA-based duo Space Rangers are back with their second single under Ultra Records titled “POPPIN” made in collaboration with Danny Quest, out today.

“POPPIN” is the second release from Space Rangers, and it’s definitely a catchy one. Featuring multiple instrumentals, a couple different voices, and upbeat, fun drops, this track is for sure one to keep on your radar. The lyrics read: “I’m invincible, metaphysical, so original; This shit I’m on ain’t typical; I got superpowers; I might go for hours; Can you handle that; This shit I’m on ain’t typical,” which pair well with the overall vibe and sounds of the song.
Prior to “POPPIN,” Space Rangers released their first track “GUCCI LOUIS,” which is a straight up VIBE. The beat is super catchy, featuring deep, warped background tones and varied instrumentals. The vocals are deep and monotone, pairing well with lyrics that read “I got my diamonds, bust down, shit look like jacuzzi, Pull up in the space coupe rocking Gucci Louis.” This track came out at the perfect time, just in time for summer.
LA-based duo Space Rangers, consisting of long-time friends Christian Dold aka Diamond Pistols and Daniel Spool aka SNEEK, is what you get when two well connected and time-tested producers join forces to create a “super group.” Christian Dold is a certified hit maker producer for some of music’s biggest names such as Blackbear, Flosstradamus, Joji, DVBBS, Lil Pump, bbno$, Rich Brian and has earned multiple platinum and gold hits, along with a Billboard #1. Daniel Spool manages and runs LA based clothing and culture company, Shred Collective, in partnership with Getter, and has toured North America multiple times, playing the most respected venues, under his bass project, SNEEK. Together, they form a battle-tested duo, that has been quietly building buzz and interest from the industry’s biggest players.
The Space Ranger’s project has a tongue in cheek, meme-centric attitude, that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but with musical chops that absolutely do.
