Musically influenced by the atmospheres of slow metal, 80s post-punk and industrial, Square Ears
presents the third release by he didnt: a singleminded investigation into repetition and loops
with heavy guitars scorched out across the frequency spectrum as if Seattle guitar duo Earth
had uncovered true darkness within and merged into one Godless, electrified being.
The EP will be made public for pre-ordering on 3rd March then will be fully released on 7th April.

From the droning “Heavy Elevation” to the controlled depth of “Open Dust Loop” via the cold
sheen of “Loop Ritual” the tracks on this EP also question the depressing trend of people in
powerful positions rarely being held accountable for their actions.

Guitarist/vocalist he didnt spent a lost decade in London in other guises supporting underground
bands like The Telescopes, Caretaker, One Unique Signal, Pale Horse, Silent Front and er…the
Magic Numbers…before moving to Oxfordshire to escape the noise, smells and pressures of city
life.
His music explores repetition and looping and operates on the edges of noise, metal and drone,
unerringly persisting with brooding melodic riffs up to and beyond saturation point.
