Summon Luke returns this April with brand new single ‘Milky Way’. Transforming a song originally written by a close friend, ‘Milky Way’ showcases Summon Luke’s ability to incorporate versatile dynamics, adding rich punk infused layers as the track progresses. Summon Luke credits his band for breathing life into the project, with Steven Bustos (drummer) adding some Coldplay/Sigor Rós-inspired drums, and Mike Stokes (guitarist) contributing a ton of excitement to the guitar layers.
Speaking about the track, Luke shared, “For me ‘Milky Way’ has always been experimental and abstract. It’s about the dynamics. Some parts of the song feel sparse, and others feel chaotic.”
The new offering will also include B-side track ‘No Shelter’ and both songs from the single will also be visualized in upcoming music videos, making for a truly immersive experience.
