“A planet pushed to the edge, what will happen if we keep on destroying our environment? This song is about the dire impact we have on our planet. My heart fills with pain when I see forests burning, animals being tortured and plastic, toxic metals in our oceans. A pollution that knows no borders. Call it ”Eco-anxiety “ I don’t know, but it is definitively an overwhelming feeling of sadness and anger to feel so useless year after year in the face of climate change.

I know this subject can be too frightening, uncomfortable, too political or even unimportant for some people, but maybe there could be a way for each one of us to find actions that could work.”

Sylvia G has released five studio albums , including ‘Overexposed’ which was one of the most streamed indie releases of 2015, with nearly a million streams worldwide, and ‘Dreams’, which reached No.2 in the US Adult Contemporary charts and No.1 in the Adult contemporary streaming chart.

Alongside her singing career, Sylvia G works alongside non- profit organisations to protect animal rights and fight animal cruelty. Surrounded by animals since she was a kid, helping animals in need has always been a huge part of her life. Sylvia released her debut novel ‘Ela Green and the Kingdom of Abud’ in September 2021 – a fiction book for young adults.

Sylvia has released four tracks from her upcoming sixth studio album ‘Brand New Day’. The album was recorded in the south of France in July 2021 and produced by french producer Georges Padey.
