Haiti-born and Toronto-based Sony Music Canada recording artist Tedy takes his songwriting and soaring vocals to the next level, blending soul, pop, and R&B. Exploring themes of longing, isolation, self-discovery, and transformation, Tedy‘s music mixes a keen pop sensibility with irresistible hooks and introspective lyrics.

After his debut EP, Boys Don’t Cry, released globally in September 2020, featuring production by Mike Wise (Bulow, Ellie Goulding, Chainsmokers) and Herag Sanbalian, Tedy dove deep to stretch his songwriting and expand his vocal range. The result is Manic Party, his forthcoming and highly anticipated sophomore EP.

New single, “I Wanted My Heart to Break,” gave Tedy the life and courage he needed to carry on while he was in a dark place. Once afraid of writing ballads, this song helped him overcome that fear, put himself out there, and express himself completely.
