The Deepshakerz team up with DJ Rae for a gripping house cut

Club Sweat is excited to welcome The Deepshakerz and DJ Rae for their new single ‘Devotion’. Delivering a driving house record with a percussive and rhythmic groove section, the single captures DJ Rae’s silky vocals whilst showcasing The Deepshakerz versatility as producers. 

The Deepshakerz chat about why they wanted to work with DJ Rae, “We have always loved working with original voices and when it comes to collaborating with Rae it is always a double joy for us, her energy and the passion with which she sings then gives us the desire to create and produce. In ‘Devotion’ the inspiration came automatically, it quickly became the perfect track for any lover of dance and clubbing!!!” DJ Rae adds, “Something special happens when we all collaborate, there’s a great energy. This vocal is really different to the usual stuff we do, it pushes the boundaries a bit, and with the edge of the production ‘Devotion’ feels like a stand out record, fresh and diverse, and Club Sweat feels like a perfect home for this”

Appreciated around the world for their eccentric house music style, the duo have created an array of remixes for fellow talent, Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson, and Terry Chandler and released tracks on widely respected labels such as Defected, SOLA, Toolroom, and Armada. 

Singer, song-writer, and producer DJ Rae has gone from strength to strength throughout her career, gaining support from Giles Peterson with her first release ‘Can’t Stop’ on Defected, going on to receive recognition from underground royalty, such as Solomun and Tale Of U with the seminal classic ‘Hide U’. DJ Rae has fast become one to watch, her self penned songs and productions have been consistently hitting the top of the house charts with credible plaudits across the scene. Showcasing her diversity, the massive single ‘Take Me Away’ with DJ SKT stormed the official UK charts, and became an accredited Silver record by BPI.
