The Hourglass Effect Share Their Latest Track ‘But Anyways’

North Carolinian rock band The Hourglass Effect share their country rock single ‘But Anyways’, out now on all streaming platforms.

‘But Anyways’ is the first track off of their self-titled debut album, written during a negativity-escaping jam session during the peak of the Covid pandemic. Released in 2021, the album is a colourful riot of soulful rock n roll.

Talking about the track the band says, “There’s no place like home, whether it’s a place or a person. Truly, home is where the heart is.”

Brainchild of songwriter and musician Drew Brashear, The Hourglass Effect is a lush musical project in collaboration with multi-instrumentalist Dave Hardman andvocalist Erin Fox-Clough.

Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, the group aligns Southern roots with rock to create unforgettable feel-good tunes, underpinned by bluesy soul. Merging diverse influences like Neil Young, Fugazi and Lana Del Rey, together they create intoxicating songs that are emotive, expansive and unapologetically North Carolinian.

Standby for more new music that showcases the band’s masterful way of marrying genres and sounds!
