Turkish-born, San Diego-based producer and performer Timur Piskiner grew up playing jazz drums and classical piano before moving into electronic music at university, where he met designer, frequent collaborator and close friend Leo Bakiri. On Timur’s debut Human By Default release, he dons his Tim Parelias alias for the first time, delivering a spellbinding two-tracker featuring a collaboration with Leo Bakiri.

The sublime ‘Tied Up’ is a deep and pulsating house sound with warm, shuffling drums and a magnificent falsetto vocal that reaches deep into the soul. Majestic synths add further lushness to this most contemplative groove.
On the digital flip, Parelias works with UK-born, San Diego-based artist Leo Bakiri on ‘Chamomile’, a wonderfully organic and emotive cut with rolling drums and suspensory chords keeping you afloat in the cosmos while the meandering leads unfold. The vocal again taps in deep and the sophisticated sound designs all make this a truly standout house lullaby.
