It was a late night out on Broadway in Nashville when Jeffrey Jordan from Band Camino called Baker to ask if he could meet him and Seth Ennis in the studio at 9am for a write. Being tired and tipsy turned out to be the right mix for a fun song that doesn’t take itself too seriously. “break up with that guy.” was originally written for Band Camino, but over the next couple weeks, something about this track resonated with Baker and he fell in love with the song.
