Blink of an Eye finds Wounded Lovers leaning into their punk roots; a style prevalent throughout their years as a band. Invoking the spirit and rawness of the likes of The Replacements and blending this with the blusey rock and roll synonymous with The Stones, Blink of an Eye soars throughout. The track straddles the line between visceral and reflective, with mournful lyrics juxtaposed by sleazy guitar licks and crashing fire cracker crash cymbals.
Wounded Lovers are delighted to announce the release of their anthemic new single, Blink of an Eye.
The track is the London four-piece indie rockers follow up to debut single ‘A Bar Called Paradise’ which picked up support from tastemakers such as The Vinyl District, Fortitude Magazine, American Pancake and Oleada Indie.
