Serbian singer-songwriter and instrumental guitarist Zarko has unveiled his deeply romantic new single, ‘Offering My Song’, out now on all streaming platforms alongside a moving new music video. Known for his heartfelt, acoustic guitar-driven sound blending folk, rock and indie influences, Zarko crafts songs that explore longing, introspection and personal growth, resonating with listeners on an emotional level.
‘Offering My Song’ is a tender, singer-songwriter ballad inspired by the fleeting but intense connection between two lovers. Written in Zarko’s early twenties, it reflects the questions, doubts and passionate promises shared in moments of youthful romance. The track becomes an offering – a way of expressing something deeper and more vulnerable – ultimately asking whether a song can be enough for love to grow, endure and transcend time.
“Sometimes a song is all you need. Give it, share it, sing it. And hold on to it,” says Zarko of the single.
Built around acoustic guitars and voice, the arrangement highlights Zarko’s signature style: intimate, expressive, and unadorned. The release is supported by a beautifully shot music video, now live online, with further videos planned from his upcoming EP Riverside. Fans can also experience these new songs live during his intimate solo acoustic gigs and through original content he creates for YouTube and Instagram.
Accompanying the single is the official music video, ‘Offering My Song (A Riverside Story)’, which captures Zarko’s performance in a raw, intimate setting. Filmed by the water and framed with natural light, the video mirrors the song’s vulnerability and romantic undertones, placing Zarko and his acoustic guitar at the heart of the story. Subtle visual motifs of flow and reflection echo the themes of longing and connection, creating a timeless, understated aesthetic that feels both personal and universal.
Shot in a single-take performance style with gentle, organic cinematography, the video strips away distractions to focus on the emotion of the moment — Zarko’s voice, his playing, and the sincerity of the song. It offers fans a window into the purity of his songwriting, reflecting the EP’s roots and the acoustic intimacy of his live shows.
As Offering My Song leads the way, it forms part of Zarko’s eagerly awaited EP Riverside, which explores themes of time, memory, and connection through stripped-back acoustic soundscapes. Each track in Riverside leans into his signature style of blending folk, rock, and indie influence, with a strong focus on the guitar and voice, to highlight vulnerability and emotional authenticity.
The music video for Offering My Song (A Riverside Story) doubles as a visual introduction to the EP’s aesthetic: natural settings, intimate performance, and moments that linger. Fans can expect more videos to follow from Riverside, offering further glimpses into the stories behind each song, as Zarko performs solo acoustic gigs where the EP’s tracks will be brought to life in the most personal way.
Zarko first came to attention with his debut release ‘Chasing Dreams’, which earned him a songwriting award in 2013 and a full scholarship to study audio production at SAE Institute. His song ‘Love is a Paper Plane’ reached the semi-finals of the ISC Unsigned Song Contest, cementing his reputation as an emerging voice in the international singer-songwriter scene.
Outside of music, Zarko enjoys running, skateboarding, videography and collecting vinyl; A passionate follower of folklore history and myth, these interests often feed into his storytelling and musical narratives.
