999999999 embodies techno music to the highest order, flooring crowds around the world with their hardware-fueled and live improvisation sets riddled with dark, acid-tinged tracks. Rooted in their trademark acid sound, “I’ve Got Acid” acts as a flawless companion to their previous discography while contributing a powerful new anthem for global dancefloors.
Marie Vaunt is a Japanese American producer establishing herself as one of the best selling techno artists of recent times, known for her ethereal vocals and driving acid-flecked productions. She injects her signature driving vocal presence into the track, forging an essential, high-octane techno cut.
The aptly titled “I Got Acid” is a 303-driven hard techno cut that highlights the duo’s affinity for acid-led grooves. A breathy, textured vocal topline weaves through thumping kicks, crisp breakbeat rhythms, industrial-tinged atmospherics, and rattling synth lines, gradually building into a fast-paced sequence of acid-infused energy.
