ABEL releases new single ‘Ah Papi’ via LAUNDRY Label

Following the successful launch of LAUNDRY Label last year with debut single ‘Slow Steady’, alongside a standout Mixmag Lab showcase during ADE, ABEL returns to her imprint for the second release, ‘Ah Papi’. Out on 6th February, the drop marks a decisive next step for the label with its founder once again in control, further establishing its growing position as a home for groove-led, late-night house music with character and purpose.

‘Ah Papi’ builds on the foundations laid by the label’s debut, delivering a tightly wound, floor-focused cut that leans into ABEL’s instinct for rhythm, momentum, and mood. Equal parts playful and commanding, the track is driven by infectious grooves and subtle hypnotic touches, engineered for packed dancefloors and extended early-morning sessions. It’s a natural evolution of the LAUNDRY Label sound: stripped-back yet expressive, direct yet immersive.

The release follows a strong run of recent outings to close 2025, including material on Frau Blau and OMRI.’s Collecting Dots Records, further cementing ABEL’s reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging voices. With LAUNDRY Label, she continues to channel that momentum into her broader creative vision, one that extends beyond records into events, spaces, and shared intimate experiences. Launched with a unique takeover of Amsterdam’s Powders Laundrette, and rooted in inclusivity, feel-good energy, and unconventional thinking, the project is designed to bring people together through music – whether on the dancefloor or in the most unexpected of settings. With ‘Ah Papi’, she reinforces her commitment to shaping LAUNDRY Label from the inside out, serving up a second drop that stands as a confident statement of intent from an artist firmly hitting her stride.

ABEL ‘Ah Papi’ drops via LAUNDRY Label on 6th February 2026.
