Loic Penillo started out as a DJ in the late noughties after winning a mix competition on France’s RTS radio station before turning his hand to producing his own dancefloor-ready cuts. Since then, the Montepellier-based artist has built up more than two and a half million streams worldwide and remixed the likes of Laidback Luke and Laurent Wolf. On his latest venture, Penillo debuts on Junior Jack’s evergreen Adesso Music imprint with a massive feel-good cut.
The sun-infused ‘Lift Your Hands’ brings together blissed-out chords and hooky chopped vocals over vibrant organic percussion and pulsating basslines to round out a high-energy sound perfect for all hours of the night.
