ADIN has firmly established himself as one of Holland’s finest techno exports, leading him to become a regular fixture for Insomniac, with performances at Electric Daisy Carnivals spread out across all corners of the world. On his debut EP for Factory 93 Records, ‘Garden of Mist,’ he displays a wide range of production abilities, which finds him dabbling in melodic and atmospheric techno sounds.
The title cut is built around a delicate arpeggio that, through subtle and minor changes in pitch, reveals a hidden world of melody. As crystalline synth textures move into the mix, the track opens into a tremendous and spacious breakdown. Then, all is stripped back as the core arpeggio is isolated before the track’s pounding groove returns.
“Absolute Zero” is based on a similar formula, with arpeggiated synths, pads, and eerie, reversed textures layered throughout. Rounding out the EP is “Rolling Walls,” a deeper affair that combines minimal grooves with luscious strings and airy pads to create a sonic template perfect for the afterparty.
“I made this EP with the goal to take a trip throughout the night,” says ADIN. “Starting slowly with a cocktail and the sunset, before going a bit darker and more up-tempo, and then closing it out with more of an emotional track.”
The journey he weaves through is a winding yet expertly crafted one, drawing a parallel to his own personal path in the music industry. The seasoned producer has spent the bulk of his life bolted down in the studio; along the way deciding to take a detour from his previous moniker to rekindle his lifelong connection with house and techno. It was a calculated yet inevitable audible that hasn’t stopped showing stellar ROI results. DREEF Records is where most of his output can be discovered, a home base he has created for his diverse discography. Factory 93 is a nice addition to that list, and the reason will become crystal clear once you trace along the trip he’s constructed on his new three-tracker.

More About Factory 93
Factory 93 explores the intersection of untethered creativity and bold self-expression, while never taking its finger off the pulse of the underground. When Insomniac broke out its figurative bolt cutters to dismantle the lock on the warehouse scene and return to its roots, it retold the story of its origins in hosting historic parties in the streets of Los Angeles. It also gave birth to a movement where discerning heads are living on the frontlines of celebrating radical ideas through the fusion of immersive live art, cutting-edge technology, and exceptionally curated house and techno. That vision continues to hold the same ground, even as the brand has grown and extends beyond the Downtown Los Angeles warehouse district, where it was originally conceived. Whether it’s at an intimate warehouse space or on a festival dancefloor, Factory 93 manufactures moments that make this culture one we’re proud to call our own.
