After overcoming an intense battle with writer’s block, Australia’s chart-topping sensation Airwolf Paradise pinned down the tumultuous experience to turn it into his latest house offering. “Concentrate” is a tech-powered tool that’s fully locked in. Its one-word vocal loop is simple yet effective, acting as a central point for the chunky house groove. The dancefloor directive repeats persistently atop flickering synth riffs, finely-tuned percussive patterns, and rotund bassline rolls. The energy stays on high alert almost the entire way through, dipping briefly as angelic vocalizations blend with futuristic phaser chords before billowing back to its peak-time form.
Speaking to the inspiration behind the track, Airwolf Paradise says, “Whilst on my first tour of America in 2024, I really wanted to write something with a crisp lead synth that would cut through in my sets. With the chaos of touring, I was finding it hard to ‘concentrate’ on writing music for long periods of time—hence came the vocals for this record.”
