Veteran production pair Alchimyst teams up with rising duo Supernature to form a formidable trance supergroup on “Take Me There,” a blast of euphoric trance arriving by way of Dreamstate Records.

With a mountain of talent shared between them, “Take Me There” features the union of two buzzing names in dance music. Alchimyst is a Swiss-American duo known for synthesizing pulse-raising psytrance. Meanwhile, Supernature are composed of singer-songwriter Zed Sinclair and producer Kevin Thorpe, combining their strengths to craft synth-heavy productions across the spectrum, from indie dance to peak-time melodic offerings. Drawing from their rich palette of influences comes a euphoric singularity taking the form of their debut collaboration on Dreamstate Records.
“Take Me There” is an awe-inducing progressive trance offering that explores the search for unconditional love, smoothly fusing the vulnerability of Zed Sinclair’s vocal delivery with cascading melodies, dreamy triplets, and layers of lush symphonics. The vocal topline is showcased early on within a dreamy, cinematic intro, a heart-palpitating prelude for the galloping bassline and moody, psy-infused groove that arrives to complete the narrative in the final half.
Alchimyst confirms the new single is one that was conceived for the fans and feeds off the excitement from their recent performance at the label’s flagship festival, Dreamstate SoCal this past November.
“‘Take Me There’ was written and created with you, the music lover, in mind; with the theme being our never-ending quest to find unconditional love. Thinking back to the energy we felt from the crowd at the last Dreamstate gave us the inspiration to explore a different side of Alchimyst, where, together with Supernature, we aimed to create a magical track filled with euphoric leads and a captivating vocal, which could recapture that magical feeling of being at a festival with those who we feel closest to.”

“Take Me There” marks the return of Alchimyst to Dreamstate Records, with the duo previously touching down on curation duties for the most recent installment of the ‘Part of the Dream’ compilation series, which included their own track “Siberia.” They’ve regularly been supported by Armin van Buuren on his ‘A State of Trance’ radio show, in addition to claiming multiple #1 hits with peak-time staples including “Runes,” “Rudra,” and “Move.”
