ALMOST ALIVE ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE ‘PIECES CLICK’ FROM NEW ALBUM ‘PULSE’

New Jersey’s Almost Alive returns with ‘Pieces Click’, the propulsive companion single to their latest album Pulse — out now. The track represents the project at its most focused and forward-moving: a relentless surge of glitch-textured synths, driving guitars, and rhythmic momentum that locks in and refuses to let go.

‘Pieces Click’ lives in the charged space between confusion and clarity — that precise, electrifying moment when scattered thoughts, patterns, and ideas suddenly snap into alignment. The track doesn’t just describe breakthrough; it sounds like one. The arrangement builds dynamically, revealing new layers on each listen, rewarding the kind of deep attention Almost Alive has always inspired in its audience.

Created using Almost Alive’s signature fusion of AI production tools — including Suno and ChatGPT — and the creative instincts of founder Evan Kanter, the track is a perfect entry point into the world of Pulse: cinematic, immersive, and built for repeat listens.

Speaking about the single, Evan Kanter says:

“Pieces Click captures that exact feeling of everything finally falling into place. It’s about persistence paying off — the noise organizing itself into something meaningful. Musically, I wanted it to feel tight and relentless, like the moment just before something clicks wide open. It’s one of my favorite tracks on the album, and I think it sets the tone for everything Pulse is about.”

ABOUT THE ALBUM — ‘PULSE’

Pulse is the latest chapter in the rapidly expanding Almost Alive catalog, following the acclaimed Hypnotica and the project’s genre-defining debut Full Blast. Where previous releases explored cinematic darkness and hypnotic immersion, Pulse channels that energy into something more kinetic — a modern rock record driven by forward momentum, digital precision, and raw emotional urgency.

Across its runtime, Pulse moves fluidly between hard-edged modern rock, electronic textures, and atmospheric depth — each track engineered to hit hard, pull listeners in, and leave a mark long after the final note fades. ‘Pieces Click’ stands as one of its defining statements: proof that Almost Alive continues to evolve while remaining unmistakably itself.

New releases from the project are expected to continue rolling out over the coming months.

ARTIST BIO

Almost Alive is a modern rock project created by New Jersey artist and producer Evan Kanter, fusing thunderous guitars, driving drums, and gritty, expressive vocals with cutting-edge AI production tools. Born from Evan’s deep passion for technology and emotional, hard-hitting rock, Almost Alive sits at the intersection of human intensity and machine precision — a project where instinct and algorithm shape the sound side by side.

With a sonic identity spanning hard rock, modern alternative, industrial textures, and hypnotic electronic soundscapes, Almost Alive has built a recognizable artistic fingerprint defined by big hooks, cinematic scope, and fearless experimentation. The project’s growing multi-album catalog — including Full Blast, Shockwave, Zero Gravity, and Hypnotica — has earned consistent growth across streaming platforms, rising saves and playlist placements, and a reputation as one of rock’s most innovative AI-assisted voices.

Outside of music, Evan is deeply connected to technology, AI, sports, and the belief that the future of rock hasn’t been written yet.

COMING SOON — ‘UNDERCURRENT’…

Almost Alive’s next chapter arrives in Summer 2026; The forthcoming album Undercurrent marks a bold new direction for Evan Kanter — a full dive into the raw, visceral energy of grunge, rebuilt from the ground up with Almost Alive’s signature AI-driven production edge.

Rooted in the grunge sounds that first shaped Evan as a musician — Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, and Soundgarden — Undercurrent doesn’t simply revisit that era. It drags it forward: same grit, louder, sharper, and pushed further than anything the project has released to date.

The album will be preceded by a run of singles beginning in early April, with ‘Deep Down’ arriving on streaming platforms around April 3, followed by ‘Hit Refresh’ in early May, and a third single landing alongside the album’s release in early June.

Speaking about the record, Evan Kanter says:

“I grew up on grunge — Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Soundgarden. That sound never left me. Undercurrent is my way of channeling that raw energy through everything Almost Alive has become. It’s the same grit, just louder, sharper, and pushed further. I’m excited to finally get this out and share it with everyone.”
