MET AMS is the first metaverse festival in Europe that looks at the metaverse through a cultural lens and will take place between the 14th and 17th of June in and around ‘de Gashouder’ on the Westergasterrein in Amsterdam
First conference names include digital fashion house The Fabricant and NFT projects Boss Beauties, HAPE, but also world-renowned artists such as Reuben Wu, Laya Mathikshara, and Rik Oostenbroek are included on the line-up.
New metaverse festival MET AMS is the first of its kind and combines a substantive conference for professionals with a range of cultural side events and evening entertainment for a diverse audience. During the four-day conference, professionals from the marketing, tech and crypto industry, as well as artists, musicians and fashion designers from the art and culture sectors, can attend networking events and participate in workshops. In addition, art routes, concerts and immersive installations make the subject of metaverse tangible and accessible to a wider audience.

The metaverse through a cultural lens
MET AMS is the first metaverse festival in Europe that looks at the metaverse through a cultural lens. Metaverse events often attract tech enthusiasts, crypto fanatics and web3 enthusiasts, but MET AMS provides a broader audience with insight into what the metaverse means for topics such as art, music, fashion, and sustainability. The festival introduces visitors to various aspects of the metaverse. From how NFTs impact culture, education, and healthcare to other important topics such as diversity, inclusiveness, and privacy in this new Web3 era. The festival will bring the groundbreaking Web3 and metaverse technologies to life in a special way, allowing visitors to experience this new digital world for themselves firsthand.

Immersive experiences
Brands, musicians and artists can show their own take of the metaverse through immersive experiences that they design and showcase themselves. These will include digital art exhibitions, light shows, virtual, -and augmented reality experiences that broaden the view of visitors and sharpen their senses. Regular and legendary tickets
Regular and legendary tickets are now available via www.met-ams.xyz. The tickets give you varying access to exclusive parts of the event, including the opening event and other networking events. After scanning at the entrance, visitors will be able to collect their NFT. To make this possible, MET AMS has partnered with GUTS who specialize in ticketing on the blockchain. Various highly acclaimed international and local artists will create the artwork for the NFTs. What the NFTs will look like will be revealed during the festival. During the festival there will be special NFT drops of which the proceeds will go to charity.
First names announced
Several brands, professionals and thought leaders from the tech, Metaverse, web3 and creative industry will help shape the first edition of MET AMS with their expertise and inspirational knowledge. As well as thought leaders Zeneca and Krys Burnette and artists such as Reuben Wu, Laya Mathikshara, and Rik Oostenbroek will be present.
