ANAMĒ BEGIN A NEW CHAPTER ON ENHANCED RECORDINGS WITH ‘SIRENS’ FEAT. EMELIE HOLLOW

Scandinavian duo anamē make their Enhanced Recordings debut with the powerful new single ‘Sirens’, featuring acclaimed Norwegian singer-songwriter Emelie Hollow.

Marking the beginning of an exciting new partnership with Enhanced Recordings, ‘Sirens’ sees Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad enter a bold new era. Already established as one of melodic electronic music’s most respected duos, anamē have amassed more than 200 million global streams through emotionally rich productions that blur the lines between progressive house, melodic techno and cinematic electronica. Now with their first release on Enhanced, they continue that evolution while embracing the Scandinavian identity that has always been at the heart of their music.

Written at the renowned Ocean Sound Studios on Norway’s rugged west coast, deep within the Arctic Circle, ‘Sirens’ draws inspiration from the dramatic landscapes surrounding the sessions. Sweeping synth work, immersive textures and soaring melodic arrangements provide the backdrop for Emelie Hollow’s captivating vocal.

For Marcus and Thomas, ‘Sirens’ represents more than simply the next release. It signals the start of a new creative chapter with Enhanced Recordings as they continue to push their sound forward. Since launching anamē, the duo have built an impressive catalogue through collaborations with Above & Beyond, releases on Anjunabeats, Joris Voorn’s Spectrum and Yotto’s Odd One Out, while their breakout single ‘The Best Part’ has surpassed 100 million streams.

“Every new chapter should feel like a natural evolution, and that’s exactly what this partnership with Enhanced Recordings represents for us. ‘Sirens’ captures a lot of what we’ve been inspired by lately, but it’s also the foundation for everything that’s still to come. We feel like we’re entering one of the most exciting creative periods we’ve had as anamē, and we’re looking forward to sharing it piece by piece.” – anamē

Joining them on ‘Sirens’ is acclaimed Norwegian singer-songwriter Emelie Hollow, a collaborator that had long been on anamē’s wishlist. After first discovering her 2019 EP ‘Hear It Out Loud’, Marcus Schössow and Thomas Sagstad knew they wanted to create music with her. Years later, the stars finally aligned on ‘Sirens’, bringing together three Scandinavian artists whose shared musical sensibilities shine throughout the record.

Born in Norway, Emelie Hollow has earned widespread acclaim for her deeply personal songwriting and unmistakable vocal, alongside collaborations with Alan Walker, Dagny, Seeb and Ruben. Her contribution to Alan Walker’s global hit ‘Lily’, which has accumulated more than three billion streams worldwide, introduced her voice to an international audience, while her own acclaimed catalogue continues to showcase an artist capable of pairing vulnerability with remarkable emotional depth.

Also contributing to the record is Swedish producer, songwriter and engineer YARO (Yaroslav Polikarpov), a key collaborator within the Swedish House Mafia creative camp. With recent writing, production and engineering credits spanning ‘Wait So Long’, ‘Finally’ featuring Alicia Keys and the official ‘Finally (YARO Remix)’, his involvement further strengthens the songwriting behind ‘Sirens’, bringing another acclaimed Scandinavian creative into the collaboration.

Together anamē and Emelie Hollow deliver a collaboration rooted in their shared Scandinavian heritage, where cinematic production meets heartfelt songwriting. Rich in atmosphere and driven by an undeniable emotional pull, ‘Sirens’ offers the first glimpse of what promises to be an exciting new era for anamē as they officially join the Enhanced Recordings family.
